@sugerkane - was there any feedback with a steel seattube vs a carbon seattube? I was thinking of running EPS(cleaner looking bike) but it won't be able to be done with a carbon seattube... Weighing the pros and cons...

I love my speedvagen, but man I've grown to despise my Enve stem.

Enve has been selling this same bulky stem design for years. I love the look of the PRO stem or ZIPP/DEDA stem on the speedvagen frame. Look at the bikes posted above and then glance at the stem. Just a huge glob of carbon with no definitive shape at all. I hope the guys at Enve are thinking about releasing a new stem design. I love the clamping force, etc. The bulky square shape of the stem takes away from the lovely round tubes IMHO.

I bought a Deda just to see if I would like it. LOVE IT! Will get it painted to match eventually, or maybe send in the SV for a repaint. I also had a Zipp SL stem painted and it looked so good on a round tube bike.

Other than my little gripe, I love my speedvagen. Rides so good!

I agree, Enve and other fat all-carbon stems are just aesthetically off on steel frames....the new Deda Superleggera is even more low profile/skinnier then the Zero 100 pictured above, also check out the Ritchey 4-axis.
