I ride a Selle Italia SLR Flow on my road bike.
It is quite hard but the shape works for me and is somewhat comfortable.
I have tried the same saddle on my tandem but it kills me on that bike.
I am not sure if it because my position is different or I am sitting more and standing less.
The saddle that I did have on it was a Terry Zero Y which was worn out and has been discontinued.
I tried a Fizik Aliante VS and was was too curved, didn't like it at all.
I think I tried a Antares a few years and didn't like it either, I just think Fizik isn't a fit for me.
I was at a local shop and the guy there recommend a RAVX Race X which is a fairly flat saddle and has a descent amount of padding.
I rode it today and thought it wan't bad but it felt a bit wide. The web site says 145mm but I measured it as 140mm.
My SLR is 130mm which I think is best for me. So I am wondering if there are any other saddle that are somewhat flat with some padding.

Thanks

Hmm, I would suggest the Fizik Antares OO. Very flat with a fair amount of padding but you state you have already been down that path

Have you looked at the Prologo Zero http://www.prologotouch.com/prodotti/zeroIInack.html? I've been using the Zero PAS on 2 of my bikes for a while now and it's been great overall.

I'll second the prologo Zero II. Very comfy!

Ritchey Marathon has an SLR-inspired shape with more padding. Available in several tiers from heavy and cheap to light and expensive.

I'll 3rd the Prologo Zero. I really like it. The CPC version is not just a gimmick. Great saddle!

Have you looked at Dash Cycles? The have well built, light saddles. I know at least one of their models meets your criteria.

light = Bontrager with carbon rails. I like Evoke RXL which is under 150g
The other option is SQlab saddle but not so light

I rode SLRs exclusively for a number of years (the original 135g ti rail model), before switching to Romin 130mm saddles (not Evo) about three years ago.

The Romin 130 was an easy transition for me, not rail flat and with a curved back, but turned out to be more comfortable over long rides. The original SLR is not rail flat anyways, the base flexes and over use always develops a (comfortable) dip.
