Madone 9 is the name which was listed on the list of approved frames for June published by the UCI. There's also the Scott F02, which is presumably the successor to the F01, which became the Foil. So I'm not sure if the carbon's different.

nice to see upper rear brake. but man is that bike butt UGLY. Also, it looks like it would be a stiff/ harsh ride.

I bet (hope) it will look better in smaller sizes. Looks to be somewhere around a 60cm. Also wonder if it is h1 or h2 geometry.
Agree with @Thirstyman... Rear brake is back to its sensible place, but man... They really brought out the ugly stick on this one. Water bottles jammed together, and I still really don't like the look of the head tube, direct mount brakes and front fork junction. Fork looks chopped out to accommodate the brakes. Nothing really "flows", except I suppose... the air around it all. It better, because to my eyes that would be it's only redeeming quality on first looks.

Yes, that's not new, but I still think it's ugly and looks chopped up rather than smooth and integrated.

It's Trek's answer to the Venge and their first 'true' aero road frame. Of course it's going to have elements that make it looks boxy. It's a sprinter's bike no doubt designed to go fast in a straight line. Stiff, aero profiled, etc.
Obviously the photo only shows one side, but there is a serious lack of cabling showing, suggesting stuff might be routed/hidden in the bars.
Personally I like it, although not so much in the Trek FR red. Maybe a smaller size in black (sorry, I prefer stealth) would make it look a bit better).
