Building a Kermesse race bike / training bike - 2014 Synapse, and am looking for brake calipers (compatible with Force22 levers) with strong action and decent modulation that will clear 28mm tires (like Sector 28).

Force brake calipers - are they good and will they clear?
TRP R960 Tis are awesome but will not clear 28s on that bike.
Old Red brakes were so so and cleared 28s only after severe filing
Red AeroLink - do not care for them at all

Any pointers are appreciated. Thx

The older SRAM Apex calipers clear 28s with ease. I have been using them on a couple bikes and very happy with their performance.
