About 50-100 people show up for that ride.
Is tht supposed to be fun? Why not go to a velodrome with a track bike

It's a weekday ride, so I don't normally make it up there, but it's one of those rides where you make it what you want it to be. There's normally breakaways throughout the ride so you can partake in those or rotate off the front or just sit in and do absolutely nothing. The quality of the riders that show up is usually pretty high, so training wise, it can be pretty good.
It's just one of the many options we have in LA.

RyanH, I like your style.
And, as RyanH mentions, the Rose Bowl can have up to 150 riders but only 10-15 set the pace. There is virtually no rotation. It's a true arrowhead.

I bet within the posters on this thread alone we could field a team that could win the Tour de France..........
Truly....
Ignore the CAAD10 entry, I was on my 21# Cielo
anyone can go online, cut out the rider info like you did find a strong time and say it was them, and oh by the way I couldn't edit out the bike so just ignore it

JSS you've got an awesome bike. There is no one here who could seriously disagree with that. So a guy criticizes the saddle on it, a saddle that's not even yours, and you get bent out of shape about it? I'd say you're pretty sensitive. beeatnik is just some smack talking kid who probably really is fast. So what? Why the hell should you care? Just let it go man.

I have never joined or posted in a forum before because I tend to be very private, but I was very surprised when my son sent me the link to this thread that had a picture of my bike. I do not know who this person is or why the person posts pictures of bikes that are not theirs. This is a picture the shop sent me before they shipped the bike to me. I sent the picture to my son who posted it on one of his social media accounts, I assume that is where this person got the picture.
I am posting this in case the shop happens to see this thread I would be mortified if they thought this person is me.
This seems like a great community of cycling enthusiasts, hopefully this may quiet an antagonist.
