Since my initial post I have trimmed down substantially.

2 tubes, 2 levers, set of allen keys. in a mini bag (need to add a patch kit as a last resort).

Will weight it when the bike is close to some scales.

(The full monty kit with an replacement chain and a first aid kit is now a permanent fixture on the aleady heavy winter hack).

Also trimmed down my bag from 480g to 181g:

2 levers
patch kit
tube
small hand pump

My bag is as follows:

Arundel Uno saddle bag
Tune Skyline skewer spanner
Continental tyre levers (x2)
Continental Supersonic tube
Topeak Ratchet Rocket tool
Strip of old tube (x2)
16g CO2 cartridge (x2)
Lezyne CO2 inflator nozzle
Lezyne patch kit
Emergency energy gel
Emergency cash (€20)

I think I should put a missing link in there too

EDIT: I forgot the weight. It's 458g

I don't actually have a saddle bag, but I do have a cheeseburger if that counts.

It weighs:
then I add 1 spare tube, 2 levers, co2 container plus cap, $20, plus my ID, CC, and info card.

600 grams with my phone in it... I could probably lose the phone at events, but I do like to have it with me otherwise. I don't remember the phone weight exactly, but I think it was around 120 grams or so with the Otterbox on it.

Jersey's for food, phone, keys and maybe gilet or arm warmers... No space for anything else in my size small. My seat pack is a specialised micro and it fits a very basic specialised tool, a tube, a glueless patch, s couple of small pieces of tyre and weighs about 250g I have a Blackburn carbon air stick pump on my bottle cage mount and that weighs 120g. Got all I need and it's always on the bike ready to go.

Just brought the Castelli Undersaddle XL. Really nice looks and build quality, though it is a tad long.
Castelli undersaddle: 42g
Lessen Road drive: 88g
Schwalbe 27.5 mtb tube: 192g
Crank bros m17 multitool: 162g
1x pedros tyre lever: 18g
Sram power lock: 2g

all up its 506g, not bad for an mtb bad eh?

Wait, Wolfsquire, let me guess, the saddle bag weighs... wait for it... a quarter pound.

:D

(OK, for those who have never ordered in the States you might call it a 'Royale with cheese' and therefore not get this.)
