hmm, i read that sky had switched to conti comps after some wet weather issues on their usual veloflex
tbh i had wondered about the same as i've now had two offs (one bad that broke my hip, still recovering), both on veloflex carbon at <16 kph on just damp roads
this is after no issues for a couple of years on them and many many wet rides, so i just tell myself it was bad luck, some oil on the road perhaps

I have looked at their site, and the attack, comp, GP 4000S and competion all have blackchilli compound and the same puncture resistance belt. So they looked so similar that I was wondering if there was other differences than the tire-with and small details. Maybe if some of them have latex tubes....
Other than tpi, tread pattern, etc. The one big difference is that the competition tubbies have this centering bead running down the middle of the fabric tape, the 4000's do not have this. For me, this makes the 4000's easier to stretch, mount and center.
