Millenstein Clincher Schwarz vs Bora Ultra 50 Clincher

Sure, to each his own.
I did not comment on LW hubs. IME their hubs are very good but I can accept Campagnolo hubs are even better.
I disagree that LWs "Being "iconic" or "a work of art" is subjective". It's like saying that it is subjective whether Porsche 911 is an iconic modern car. It is not subjective at all.

There is a belief that the Campy and Shimano bearing systems while old school actually roll better and more durable - especially over time.
I'm on Shimano Dura Ace. This is my experience.
Colnago C-59 (Dura Ace)
Firefly(Ultegra)
Colnago C-64 disc(ultegra) with Bora 35 wheels

Just ignore the 'narrow rim-narrow tyre' guideline. 23 may look a better match but 25 is a better ride.
The "iconic" thing about LWs is overdone
They were well ahead of their time for sure
But in a few years others caught up, or at least produced something at a similar weight that was cheaper, more aero, more serviceable etc.
The period of LWs being the pro peloton's choice paid for from their own pocket etc etc was brief and carbon wheel tech was very much embryonic then, with LW out in front
Boras have FWIW actually won far far more top level pro races than LWs.
Far more.

After 20 years, yes, other caught up in certain - not all - aspects. LW's stiffness to weight and looks (yes LW still make every bike look better) are miles ahead.

Contador, yesterday...
I picked up a pair of the campy bora ultra 50 clinchers and I have to say I think I've died and gone to heaven.
The wheelset is smooth and sure footed, braking is phenomenal for a carbon surface, and like calnago mentioned above, it completes the look of a campy equipped bike.
Get the boras, you won't regret it

That LW looks so unbalanced Or is it the tube causing that? And hubs have more drag compared to the Bora.
