Ah! You didn't mention that you wanted to record the data.

The only other ones that I can think of are the Sigma ROX 10.0 and the Cateye Strada Evo+
The Cateye is 50g for the head and physically smaller than the Sigma, but I don't think it's much different than a Garmin 500.

The other option is to do what I do: a Node 1.1 on the bike for visuals and a Garmin on the wrist for recording.

I think your only option is a Garmin and replace the stock battery with something smaller snd lighter.

AFAIK the lightest and smallest cycling power computer is the SpeedZone ANT+ Digital. I assume the 2015 model also includes the USB cradle for downloading, as the digital expert version the previous year.

If you want zero computer weight on the bike there's also the Recon Jet option :-)

Just curious; why do you need anything that is smaller and lighter than a Garmin edge 500?

ive the Wahoo sensors and a sony smartphone Z3C (integrated ANT+) . its small, good screen, etc. The phone provides gps/grade as well and is waterproof.. and amazing battery life, so pretty decent combo.

dedicated screen has still some advantages over it: doesn't cost as much on a crash. better readability in sunlight. better mounts.
