Ther´t want broken cages, because I have to replace them. So there will be an heavy mtb version 11 gr and a new coating for the 6,5 gr..
Thanks to everyone for posting their reviews.
Just ordered 2x 6g cages on eBay today.
I'm looking forward to using these!

My 2x 5g cages arrived last week. I wasn't sure if they were the 5g or the 6.5g versions due to the gloss of the carbon, but weighing them confirmed they were the 5g version. Thanks Simon, but a word of advice, please respond to emails or direct questions through your web page. I never received a confirmation email they were sent or any correspondence since I ordered them through your website querying if they were on their way or not.
All I need now is a new frame to put them on!

Yep the emails went to my dpam too. Great cages.

Yaha. Waiting on a 48cm Hi Mod but it's not looking likely I'll get the model (insurance pay out but $1500 went to excess . SO it will most likely be next years frame. Some stuff will move over from my damaged BMC, but mostly new kit , except a Lightning crankset and pedals which were 2nd hand items and the Wheelworks Enve wheels.
It's hard doing it on a very long purchase timeframe!!

^^^ By the way, I don't even know what bike that is?! Gotta brush up my knowledge.
Same happy thoughts at my house today.
They're ~6g/ea with another ~2g/set of mounting bolts.
Ride report to follow one day sooner than later. Grrr, got ~3" of snow today.

I wondered too, but the positive reviews and posts by the inventor / creator here were strong enough for me to try them out. Color me optimistic.
(Fingers crossed!)

Simon sent me out new cages to replace the ones that were shaking out bottles. 100% rectified. They're the heavier coated 6g ones, but they hold bottle way better. Worth not having to descend one handed to hold my bottle in place. Thanks Simon!

Another idea might be to make a tab on the top side similar to your lower tab. The top tab would secure the top side of the bottle.
Thanks great idea!
You should source this screw in titanium
