Trouble adjusting (electronically)-di2 FD-9000

I got the PC linkage device (SM-PCE1)- to set up the di2 9000 group-set but can't set-up the front derailleur.
Is it normal when switching to the big ring that the FD adjusts to the chain line only after about 2 secs and during that time depending on which gear at the back, the chain rubs?
I remember that the Di2 7900 took about half a second to trim itself to the rear gear.

You should read the manual on setup. You don't need the SM-PCE1 to setup the FD or RD. Starts on page 53.

Yes. That's exactly the way it works. That 2 sec delay ensures a good shift.
That was implemented in a recent firmware update.
