Can anyone fathom what the axis of rotation is for these?

Is it like a worn our speedplay or mtb pedal, where the rotation is like the shoe being atop a convex surface? Or does the cleat follow a concave path, such that supination/inversion on the upstroke pulls inwards toward the crank arm, and pronation/eversion on the downstroke pushes away from the crank?
Snacking on carrot sticks - Where did it all go so wrong?

It took some while but the 3AX pedals finally made it to production.
This can be a good solution for many people with suffering some knee problems.

Aside from the Kickstarter pedals, no pedals have hit the market yet.
This will take place within 2 weeks.
