At this point it looks like the crank arms would be lighter and stiffer if he just went full alu.

I would surely like to have them. But i would be nervous if i had to use warranty.

Why have 1 piece crank arms when you can use 7 pieces or more + screws & glue
Cranks are not just simple levers yah know.

I can only imagine how much noise those cranks will make with all those individual parts.

Looks like a problem for Vector, since the pedal surface is recessed with a protrusion lower down. Not sure about the Powertap version I have the same issue with my Lightning cranks (recessed pedal surfaces). The recess does increase stiffness with lower Q, but it also increases opportunity for heel-rub if feet rotate heel-in.
