Hi,

I have a 10 speed Campagnolo Chorus Ultra Torgue crank and would like to fit som 11 speed Stronglight CT2 chainrings on it.

Will it work without any modifications?

Thanks

Just make sure the chainrings have the same BCD.

BTW, I have a feeling, that actually centaur PT and athena PT cranks were identical, apart from the charings.. :beerchug:

U can do that, BUT : you need "old" 2 pcs bolt rings ( chorus up to 2011 or current power torque ) - Stronglight and Miche Super 11 are your choices. I like Miche more: better shifting , and "campa" chainrings color ;)

Or use Campag, which work very well.

^^ What he said :-)
Why pay all that £ for a UT chainset and a Campag gearing system then compromise the shifting with a third party chainring?

maybe because "Campagnolo" ask for chainrings about 70% of new crankset ? ;) And who says it's compromising ?

Campag chainrings aren't cheap but it's not 70% of chainset at street price ...

Current price for a 50/53t Record chainring is c£80 vs c£350 for a new Record chainset. So a pair of new rings is more like 50% max of the chainset price

Other thing is I imagine many of us on here - myself included - do 95% + of our riding in the big ring, meaning the inner ring will outlast everything else on the bike and probably never need replaced ...

I changed both my Record 10 speed chain sets to 11 speed , Used T A Specialites Nerius 11 speed which are compact, allowed me to go 52/36, and a standard set up called Horus and went 52/39, T A specialites made Campagnolo's chain rings years ago and are the same quality as campag and even the same mat finish at a better price .
