Caad 10 vs Scott foil
Moderator: robbosmans
Caad 10 is great for what it is but no way better than a foil. IMHO it does not worth to get an inferior frame just to add one more cog on your cassette. Keep your money and frame and get a DuraAce next year if you can.
Of course in case you don't like your Foil at all and want to try something new it is up to you.

Well I have both and their ride characteristics are very similar. I wouldn't call a CAAD10 inferior to a Foil HMF frame either. 150grams heavier maybe
You haven't stated what you primarily use the bike for?
If races, I'd keep the Foil. CAAD is an excellent bike, but the Foil is lighter and more aero. Upgrade the groupset to 11sp if that is truly what you're looking for.
And if not for races...hard to say "get a CAAD". As that's still a race designed machine.

There is a very high probability this year Scott would come out with a new Foil - more aero (probably), more stiffness & comfort ( ) and all that other marketing addons. Anyway, that one should be better so maybe wait and simply upgrade to the new Foil late this year or early next year.
Minimum bike categories required in the stable:
Aero bike | GC bike | GC rim bike | Climbing bike | Climbing rim bike | Classics bike | Gravel bike | TT bike | Indoors bike

If you're a size 56, I want the frame.
