The above wheelset was delivered lightning fast by our forum supporter STARBIKE and
at a very good pricing.

Wheels spins freely and smooth but hub sound are very faint. How long or kilometers
to take for the hub sound to become loud.

Please advice and thanking in advance for any inputs. Cheers

You want a loud hub sound? They are not known for having a loud freehub noise (i assume you mean the sound of the freehub pawls) If you want loud hubs I would get some chris kings.

Agree Starbike are excellent. Cheap and quick.

Could try taking the freehub off and checking if there is excess grease around the pawls.

I tend to clean off most of the grease from the pawls and ratchet ring and then apply a medium duty oil.

My 2015 Fulcrum Racing Zero are 100% silent at freewheel after 500 kms. I was very used to the noisy Fulcrum Racing 3 that when I freewheel I get the feeling something is wrong but it's not :)

Hmmm, my 2013 racing zeros are quite loud actually, from day one as far as I remember Freewheeling. Louder than the Racing Speed XLR

I upgraded the hub from 10 to 11 speed on my Racing 1 Ltd edt 2012, went from zero sound to a lot of sound, which is to my liking :D

After running a few hundred kilometres on ZERO it's getting louder to my preference.

As times passes it will eventually getting louder and loudest..

Loves the ZERo and the hub sound and no regret at all.

Good to hear. Just curious, was your delivery to the USA? I'm planning to order a wheel set from STARBIKE soon.

I'm in California and just received a set of wheels from Starbike. Maybe 10 days delivery and zero problems. Highly recommend.
