I have recently upgraded to an eleven speed drivetrain and am replacing my old cassettes. However I have a ten speed loose cluster of Miche sprockets 14 to 28 which I put together for super hilly events. Would these sprockets, obviously with the addition of an eleventh sprocket work with an eleven speed gear system?

I suppose my question is: what is different on a eleven speed set up versus ten. Are the sprockets thinner? Or the spacing rings? Or is the cassette just wider?

I am hoping the sprockets are the same with maybe a wider carrier and narrower spacers, this should allow me to reuse most of what I already have.

Thanks in advance.
