I have a road fork that I understand is suited for a 140mm rotor. And to allow the use of a 160mm rotor I believe I need a 20mm post to post adapter.

Are all these post to post mount adapters the same? ie. 20mm.

I have available a Shimano one and the tech doc with it says that 'it enables the use of a 203mm rotor with frames designed for 180mm ones'.

I am guessing rotor sizes are based on Imperial/inches and a post/post adapter to convert 140 to 160 isn't going to be the same as the one needed to convert 180 to 203.

Thanks.

I think you can use any "+20" post mount adapter to accomplish what you need. Anything that's meant for Front 160->180PM or Rear 140->160PM would work. I'd be concerned about the one you mentioned though because it's a "+23"...

The Shimano one you'd want is the "SH-MA90-F180P/P" seen here at Competitive Cyclist
