According to a previous post, the frame is 56cm.

I do have another question: how much did the frame cost you ?

Anyway, awesome job and build recap, thanks !

I'm also thinking about VB-R-077/LTK118 or LTK007 or VB-R-022 frames for my new carbon fiber road bike build. Looking forward to read your future reviews regarding riding quality, feelings, etc. of that frame.

Some additional questions:

1. What's your body height/tall and weight?
2. What's the frame size you have?
3. Did you have any issues with front derailleur?

Thanks! Waiting for your new comments.

1. 1.8m, 79kg
2. 56cm, which is actually 56.9, 55 would have been better but the next size down was 54cm.
3. I have not installed the front derailleur yet. it's the last main thing I have left to do.

The frame cost $450, plus $45 for the custom paint and I think around $18 for the headset.
Plus shipping and Paypal fee.

Quick update on the build:
I had a tough time with the cable housing, it's my first build and I cut the housing too short. So after mulling over my options, I decided to pull it all out and start again. I completed this task last night and now I have new housing installed, brakes installed and working, rear derailleur installed. And I just have the front derailleur to complete.

Bike seemed to get fat over night! weighted it after the cable housing install and it is now 6.1kg with the chain to install. so it looks like the build will come out to about 6.5kg, still very good but .5 kg over my goal.

I 'll post some completed pictures tomorrow.

What tires do you use? Does that frame supports 700x25C besides of 23mm? How about 700x28C?

I checked and I think you could run 25's no problem. But since I only have 23's I would check with LT Bikes.

The bike is built, I've already done 60km on it. I've got an issue though, the saddle clamp is not compatible with my Selle seat! I only realized afterwards that it was installed wrong.

So I either change the seat for Non carbon seat or I change the seat post! Research time!

Hi!

I have another question. I'm choosing wheelset for that frame and a bit unsure... How do you think would it be better to go with 23mm or 25mm wide rims? Does it even support 25mm rims?

Thanks! :beerchug:

As I have said previously, I believe you could fit 25mm wheels without an issue. But I suggest you email either Velobuild or LT Bikes directly and ask them. I only use 23mm wheels and I don't have any experience with 25mm wheels.

Looks like I've found another VB-R-077/LTK118 related frame:

http://www.yoeleobike.com/carbon-bike-f ... light.html — this one looks very similar to VB-R-077/LTK118.

... if that helps someone.

I see. Thank you. I was asking about rim width because of Yoeleo recommendations. They were a bit confusing to me.

http://storage2.static.itmages.ru/i/15/ ... 597456.png — what does it mean "fit most frames"? Anyway, I don't care about 25mm rims anymore. I've decided to go with 23mm wide and 38mm height rims.

Well, "this one looks very similar" (quote from my comment). :-) Didn't tell it's the same. Just in case anyone interested in similar frames.
