35mm is such a great all round depth IMHO. Not deep enough to be caught in gusts usually and light enough to take hills well while not being to bad aerodynamically.

I say get both. A 35 clincher for training and a 50 tubular for racing. The 35 is more versatile if you are only going to get one, though.
It's all downhill from here, except for the uphills.

Bright 35s. If you had an Aeroad, bright 50s.

Also I'm pretty sure that Fulcrum Racing Speeds haven't been updated in line with new Bora technology yet - they've still got the older, narrower profile with no clincher option.

-it matters what type of riding you want to do

I went with 50's because my hed ardennes pls are nearly the same depth as the 35s(especially to the eye test). I should have my Bora 50 Ultra by friday I will let you know how they ride. Basically I figured I would ride the Hed's if I am doing a ton of climbing, otherwise just ride the 50's. I dont, race so everything I buy is intended for daily use. Also I live in So Cal so its never going to rain again so I should be good there as well :P

I would do 35 clear decals.
The red 'Ultra' on the wheels look great with the red decals on the frame.
35 is the most versatile, it's Aero and it's ligth.

@sawyer

True true...I wanted to do Campy...but I was really worried about reliability. The pinarello demo trailer had bikes with Campy Eps that were not working. I barely have time to ride as it is and I figured if the Campy/Pinarello stuff wasn't working then how would I ever have a shot at getting mine to work. That being said, their stuff is so nice.

Honestly, I doubt there is real difference between the 35 and 50 as far as loosing something by going with the 50. My Hed ardennes were pretty deep for aluminum rims so I went bigger just to have a true difference. Plus they look cooler, and if I am being honest, they were what is available that day I was browsing wiggle and probably should of been working.

I like the splash of red. Too many stealth bikes here. Matches the badge on the bike.

Definitely the 50s. Big carbon down tube needs big carbon wheels.

I just like to be different.

I'll be different. 35 bright or 50 dark. You need to decide the depth yourself. What other wheels do you already have to compliment them?

Also, Shimano and Bora. I'd do it no problem. I'd prefer Fulcrum to offer at least the Bora One version. If they want exclusivity still for the Ultra version then keep it Campy only.
