I need the lightest bar I can find for a special project - I suspect it will be something from an earlier era and that older ww's may think of something from the good old days.
26mm clamp dia
Compatible with quill stem single bolt type clamp (I'm assuming that means no carbon bars but interested if you think otherwise)
short reach
traditional round bend (or at least not ergo) and compatible with Ergo levers
Any thoughts?
Best thing I have come up with so far is the Deda Speciale 26 - although weighs a ton
All the round Nitto bars have too long reach (100mm+)

I used to have a Deda 215 non-anatomic handlebar, 26mm clamp. As the number says, it's claimed weight was 215g... Although Deda are known for their "optimistic" weight figures!
I didn't ever weigh them, but they did feel lighter than most 'bars at the time.

3ttt less was one of the lightest (around 200gr). I used to have them. Not that stiff but not a problem. Felt really nice.
If you're willing to get the lightest, contact Schmolke what they think about putting their handlebars into a quill stem.

Agreed. The 3T Prima 199 was about the lightest.
However, none of these older bars typically had short reaches because there was generally only one pattern of bend in those days.
I run Prima 199 on one of my circa 2000 bikes. They were only ergo bend.ITM Pro Italia was on Pantani's bikes, a little heavier at 260g or so, and anatomic, but not really ergo, bend.

I picked up some KCNC SC Force in 26mm in error, Bend is anatomic but also reasonably deep. Cost £15 on eBay, weighed at 209g.

200 grams. Classic bend?
$50 plus shipping to wherever you are.
PM me with email if you want pics.
I have come across a previous posting for these and they look really good but it wasn't clear what they were made of - are they alloy? If so I am interested and will PM you.
