What's important, though, you can't run a true BB30 crank (SISL2, for instance), but can run any of 30mm axle Rotors (3D30, 3D+) and similar ones.
From aero perspective, I take Look aeroness claims with more salt than those of other manufacturers (Cervelo, Felt etc). Switching from the 596 to Scott Plasma 3 this year with the same components I remained on the same watts, but gained 1 kmh on my TTing speed - there might have been some positional differences, but my own measurements said they were pretty similar.
