Just get an idea , need opinion is it possible (?)

Idea is to install 24mm Rotor crank in BB386 frameset. Rotor says it's incompatibility within 24mm and bb386, however I get some idea …

bb386 has same shell diameter as BB86 ( 46mm )& same "deep seat" ( no outside flange ) as Bb86 - so maybe it's doable to install bb86 bearings in 386 bb shell and fit there 24mm "shimano standard" crank ?

what you think ? Maybe already someone did it ?

temprary "out of brain " bb86 is 41mm shell

Other way to install Rotor crank in bb386 already exisiting bbracket (FSA) ?

I can be wrong, and have plenty of examples for that ;)

I just installed a Rotor 3D24 with power2max on a BH G6 frame with BB386 EVO bottom bracket.

We used a CeramicSpeed FP4630 bottom bracket and a set of FSA adapter from 30mm/24mm spindle and the run faultlessly.

Wishbone also do a direct conversion bottom bracket - http://www.wishbonetw.com/pro_3.asp?cate=122&id=262

Or C-Bear http://www.c-bear.com/en/bbe-en/shimano ... racket.php

If you have an existing bottom bracket you could use FSA adapters (30mm spindle to 24mm) as suggested above.
