Snapped my Ti seat clamp, recommend a carbon one?

apparently it couldn't take 5nm..

So I'm in need of a replacement.

Since I'm aiming for carbon spacers and topcap, can anyone recommend a carbon seatclamp?

I was looking at the PZ Racing one because I'm planning to get the PZ Racing headset spacers but one of the crc reviews says it snapped @ 7nm and don't want to re-replace it any time soon.

Is the PZ one generally durable? Or is there a better alternative?

MCFK. It's expensive, but you'll buy it once and never think about it again. Except when you look at it and smile because it's so awesome.

Does it matter that the frame is alloy? In regard to using a carbon clamp...

Just found the order for the Ti clamp.. it was a J&L one, thought they were decent.

Yeah, no joke. It was hard to for me to swallow when I bought it too. I got the derailleur clamp as well, so it was double hard. I wanted them to match, and just be reliable.

There's a bunch of similar styles on Ebay for about $20. Search item 110695949120.

I wouldn't think the alu frame made any difference. I too thought J&L was reliable brand.

Any carbon one will be pretty high in the $ to gram savings. Some aluminum ones I have experience of include Tune's Würger which is about 9g. I got a Carbon-ti x-clamp also 9g or maybe 10g as Specialized insist on 32.6mm clamping diameter.

Carbon TI X Clamp 3 looks like a winner tbh.. just gotta wait for pay day.

I know it's not carbon as per my original query but quality carbon is just a little out of my reach.
