Having said that, there are two down sides for LWs.
1-DT hubs are not not my favorites. But having both Campy and Shimano components, changing the freehubs can't get simpler. Get the SchwarzEd LWs, at the cost of €300 per wheel.
2-Cross winds affect them really badly. Easy to solve though; do not use matching pairs. My favorite combo is Meilinstein in the rear and ventaux on the front. If you want to save weight, you can use AX ultra 24, instead of ventaux...
Why not just use Ax Lightness wheels instead?
Bikes:
Ax Lightness Vial EVO Race (2019.01.03)
Open *UP* (2016.04.14)
Paduano Racing Fidia (kind of shelved)
Ex bike; Vial EVO D, Vial EVO Ultra, Scott Foil, Paduano ti bike.

Yeah - mis-matched wheelset particularly from completely different brands isn't that cool. I've always fanced the aero performance of those Ventoux would be pi55-poor but haven't seen any reliable data - is there any?

Meilinstein rears feel stiff and yet comfortable, awesome road feel, stop well with LW brake pads (for carbon anyways). Combined with bling factor, LW, IMHO, wins over competition. If you are after lightest, AX is better but does not feel as good as LW as a rear wheel. So, I sometimes use AX in the front (at the expense of a weird looking config...)

2old4this - nice bike. the FW looks OK i think. and big weight saving and not getting blown about by wind. and much cheaper! pretty good. i wonder what it is about the LW aesthetic. hub, spokes? which one would make this look just that little bit....more?
nice bike btw. can't weigh very much (less than 6?)
Bobo S&S Steel Bike - 7.5 kg
Oltre XR2- 6.6 kg
Look 585 - 6.8 kg
Look 695 SR

Thanks mrgray. As configured (cages, computer mount+sensors), it is 10.8 lb (I normally have a SchwarzED on the rear but had a flat last weekend.) Using AX in the front saves ~130 grams. Not bad I think.
Esthetics wise, I think the rim finish and the wide spokes make the LWs look, well, "special"... A few years back, I had a set of Lew Racing VT1 Pros. Those looked awesome as well. Too bad they went under.

Sorry guys but Meilenstein rear - AX front just ruins both.
Meilenstein rear - Gipfelsturm front is the only acceptable combination.

Are you going to throw me in the slammer for using Time pedals on a Look frame?

No. I think kgt would allow that because Storck doesn't make pedals.
But then again Markus has neither the pinache of Cipo nor the heritage of Ernesto or Giovanni*/Fausto.
So Fascenario 0.7 -->
FAIL (regardless of pedals).

Now that is funny! But not half of the story...
Last year I took the Fascenario to Calfee to get it converted from mechanical to Campy EPS. It is a total awesomeness (or bastardization, depending on your point of view) of German and Italian techs. I think I am doomed one way or another.

That's an old chart but somehow indicative. Keep in mind that this is @50km/h :
