the Quarq fell through so I'm taking the advice to look at P2M

Another option is getting a rival left arm and sending it to 4iiii to have them attach their PM to it.

You can swap the cranks on the riken if you don't like the length. I swapped mine with some force22 crank arms.

At this point its down to a Riken, P2M SRAM and P2M Rotor 3D24

Where do you guys think Stages gets their crankarms from? Do they buy the entire crankset and just use the crankarm? I cant see manufacturers just selling a crankarm to them

They buy complete chainsets, and then sell the drive side on ebay to recoup some of the warranty claim costs :wink:

Why not? Manufacturers have sold left crank arms forever, you can even go pick one up yourself if you so desire. And if a company is willing to put in an order for thousands of them, I doubt someone is going to say no to that.

Back to square 1 - Riken AL looks interesting but it's a heavy option. Hoping P2M reduces euro prices
