Hello Weight Weenies,

Considering getting a Cervelo R3 or Canyon Ultimate CF SLX frame in either size 51 for the R3 or size 50 for the Ultimate.

Anyone know the following dimensions for each frame?

Center bb to center toptube
wheelbase for the R3

Just to compare the different frames with my current one. My concern is that both of them have a "short" reach/wheelbase compared to the stem I will be using (most likely 12 cm).

I still don't see what you mean, are you looking for handling or positioning? For body position reach and stack are important but wheelbase and standover height aren't. Handling I don't think you can automatically predict from a geo chart anyway.

I got myself a Ulti CF SL since January. Awesomest bike ever for me. Fit is just perfect, no pain anywhere.

My data:

inseam: 82cm
torso: 61cm
shoulder: 40cm
arm length: 62cm

I ordered from Canyon with a custom stem, 110mm and I changed the seat post to the one with 10-25mm offset.

My crank arm length is 170mm. I'm using Fizik Antares saddle, about -1.5% angle.

I'll get the measurements of my bike later and post here.
Tip of saddle to mid of headtube
Top of saddle to mid of BB

Forgot to mention that my bike is 50 :P

Anyway, my tip of saddle to the end of stem, mid of handlebar is 52cm

Top of saddle to mid of BB is 72.5cm

to OP, no offense, but your questions are not clear and don't make sense. I would suggest you engage a search on either google or this fine website for "stack and reach" and then study up on road bike geometry and what it translates in to for a frame your size. Then seek some professional fitting advise for the correct size frame. You are about to drop $3-$4K down on a new bike...a $250 fitting will be invaluable. EM3

stack and reach are important of course but of equal importance is the position of the body on the bike, frame's angles, wheelbase, bb height, chainstay length etc.

120mm on 49cm. Head tube on mine is 120mm

OP likely has short inseam and long torso like me. Wheelbase is important due to toe overlap and standover is important to us too.

Really? On what 49cm bike are you not going to get massive toe overlap? :noidea:

Umm the CR1SL pictured has 978mm wheelbase. Both my CAAD10 and CAAD9 in 52cm have 968mm wheelbase. Ergo I get more toe overlap on the Cannondales even though they are 1 size larger

So, yes; really
