Sorry to repeat the previous advice but can you double check to ensure you have the latest etube version. My old version said it was checking for updates and couldn't find any. However auto updates stopped working on older versions!

I had to manually download the latest version from shimano!

Thanks a million, this was the trick and thanks to my stubbornness I unpacked the stuff again and got it to work.
I've downloaded the Etube software only 3 weeks ago, so it's very strange that I did not got the 2.9.0 version, now I do and it worked like a charm.

Here some pictures in order to help others.

Old version:

New 2.0.9 version:

Then you actually see the SM-EWW01 in the list in order to select:

I got a failure on the SM-EWW01:

But then it offered to upgrade the firmware:

Then the moment of truth :beerchug:

I'm happy, but also dissapointed due to the poor information available from Shimano.

Anyway, I am going to enjoy, and I hope this topic might help others!

Thanks again amb001 for pointing in the right direction!

As my last post is showing I got it to work after a lot of efforts (too much in my opinion due to the lack of tech support from Shimano).

I hope my topic will help other people as the information online is (still) poor.

Last weekend I did my first ride and I like it :-)
First I could charge my Di2 battery to 100% and later during the ride when climbing it's a good reference i.c.m. heartrate and cadence.
