THM BBright removal help

how about those old school bottle top opener... they were ridged and made out of rubber.. you can wrap that around the non-splined side and use the tool on the other.

Contacted THM. They weren't much help. Haven't addressed the issue since posting but have been thinking about ways around it. Only way I could think of is to put notches somewhere on the non drive side to get some leverage but that would render the bb useless after removing.

Do a search for strap wrenches for plumbing. See if any of those might work

Remove the NDS bearing and see what you got. Some cups have two opposed slots that you could get something big and flat in. If not, you only need to cut to opposing slots with a hackswaw, or maybe just one slot would do it.
Let us know how you get on. Can't believe anyone is designing thread-fit style BBs like this.

Nothing protrudes on the NDS of a BBRight so strap wrenches probably won't work. Try researching 'expanding collets' as these may do the trick in holding the NDS side in place while undoing the DS of the BBRight with the THM tool. Only thing is you will first have to remove the NDS bearing.
