Hi, this is my first topic on this forum after reading plenty of topics anonymously.

I have an offer to recieve a force 22 crank for free from a friend but my issue is that I currently use DA7900 group. Is the crank compatible with my DA7900 group?

Going to the mountains so I need the 50/34 of the force rather than a 53/39 that I use on my DA.

Cheers mates!

No it won't work. But... can you give me your friend's phone number?

Seriously, it should work without problems. You need to adjust the front derailleur, and that's it. 11-speed chainrings are backwards compatible, and 10- and 11-speed chains have the same internal width.

Have we not repeatedly determined that mixing Campagnolo, Shimano and SRAM is a jailable offense?

Great news! Is there no difference between 7901 and 9000 chains? I thought that 11sp chains are narrower?

ps. It is a birthday-gift, no worries ;) ds.

Only the outer width of 11sp chains is different, the internal width is the same for both.
