Yeah crankset is 50/34 they must have changed the cage length or something else as the previous campy generation seemed to use up more chain. So I set it up if I go 11/34 the chain is barely engaging (pulling) on the derailuer as in probably about 2 chain links space between chain ends by just taking up slack then by pulling to snap chain together it engaged springs on derailuer and. I'm within campy tolerances of the space between chain and bottom of derailuer tab. Then in 50/32 on the old campy it seemed very stretched out and kinda looked like you would really kinda put some wear on the derailuer pulleys and probably be losing some wattage from extra friction tension. But now it seems well within the travel range and looks fine not overstretched. I'll take a couple pictures of it in the two maximums. It shifts very cleanly up to the 32 tooth and I think it shifts better up then it did with the 29 with pre 2015 campy.
I'm reviving this thread as I'm about to buy a Miche 12-30 cassette for my mountain holiday in a couple of months.
will this work with a 2015 chorus rear derailleur?
also, do I have to adjust the derailleur in any way when I mount the cassette. I've recently started working on my own bikes so I'm not fully up to speed concerning these things, so I'm sorry if this question seems silly.

But I could be wrong
In addition, will there be a need to adjust chain length if I move from using a 11-25 to 11-32?
I've heard of this working. I'd say you'll need to back off the cage tension screw a lot but it seems to work

SRAM 11-32 cassette on Super Record 2015
Just fixed a 11-32 shimano 105 on my wheel and it works! The 32 cog has its teeth going past my campy record rear derailleur cage plate but it spins smoothly. Should I do something to widen the gap between the top pulley and the cog?

I started another thread on this.
Pre 2015 11 speed can use an Athena Long Cage and I have used up to 36t!!!! with NO PROBLEM. shifts great and I can climb anything. Just fits Big/Big and Little/Litte. Slight FD chain rub due to cross chaining but more than enough chain wrap left in RD.
On my POST-2015 SR I swapped out the medium cage only of the new Potenza and it works up to 36 too!!! Just have a black allow instead of carbon cage. I am posting a picture because I could not believe it fit. Your frame might be different but 32 should work. 11s works because the Sram/Shitmano cassette has almost the same spacing of cogs. with 10s you're screwed unless you can find the mythical IRD 11-34 that I wish I bought when they were still in stock for about 5 minutes. I have two 10s 32s and it works great with Long Cage Record/Centuar/chorus but is out of stock too.
Campy is correct in that you CNA NOT swap out an Athena Long Cage to a 2014 11 s Chorus line. they used a different bolt diameter and length and placement....O tried...believe me I tried, so I could save my carbon bling on the chorus RD. I have put on about 50 miles on both of these 36t setups with out any problem and used the full range of gears to test it.
