Trek is doing light light frames ... don't think it's a question of weight ... in this case why i red some discussion of Specialized Roubaix disc ?

that is an heavy disc bike

You aren't going to find anyone here riding it because of the weight penalty, and lack of wheel options (thru-axles)

Foghat on here, posted about fitting mudguards to one, so its quite possible he has one.

Maybe PM him?

IIRC most of Trek's disc forks have an aluminum steerer. I think the 6.9 Domane is the exception. so weight should be good.
The 6.9 disc is indeed a fantastic frame.

Only the top-end Emonda is light. This frame goes to, for example Tour Magazine and they publish how it beats Cervelo RCA. However, the vast majority of the Emondas sold are relatively heavy, for example a kg or more for the frame alone (no fork).

The Emonda is a fantastic frame. Very well designed. I just built up an Emonda Sl (not SLR) and it came in at 6.7kg. I'll create a thread for it this weekend. Really built up nice.
Colnago C64 - The Naked Build; Colnago C60 - PR99; Trek Koppenberg - Where Emonda and Domane Meet;
Unlinked Builds (searchable): Colnago C59 - 5 Years Later; Trek Emonda SL Campagnolo SR; Special Colnago EPQ

Ride is fantastic in combination with the challenge strada bianca tires and latex tubes. Please note, I ride a lot in belgium with their famously bad roads, and the cobbles of course!

I think it rides like other high end domanes, but the brakes are so much better ( modulation and stopping power ) The thru axles add a lot of extra stiffness.

Weight is 7,9 kg with these tires, spd-sl 105 carbon pedals, edge 810 on barfly mount and cheap elite custom race bottle cages. Size is 58 cm and the steerer is indeed carbon, as posted earlier. Standard wheels are not very light, but their ride is good, and you gotta have something and your upgrade list:)

I'll post a picture later.

Thanks :-)
I'm sorry, but then it is already perfect, it has thru axles front and rear!

Such a shame you had to cancel your order!
