What's the maximum people have successfully used these brakes with? I'm looking at new wheels a 25mm brake track.

I have a set on 25mm wheels. Works fine.

However, the brakes are all the way open; I have lost the ability to open and close the brakes, if that makes sense.

HI, are they safe to use fully open? I've tried them on my new wheels wheels which are 24.2 wide and the wheel would not turn even with the brake cable removed as the reach was insufficient. I'd be keen to know how you've got on. Also were they carbon clinchers and did they brake ok? Thanks

Well, OG-Ti have all been sold with standard padholders.

Since 2010, Ciamillo has developped super low profile padholders, that are 2mm thicker, so that you can save 4mm of clearance per rim !

So, your brakes would need super low profile padholders. Problem, it's a little bit expensive, but according to average life of Ciamillo brakes, it worth it.
