Alright, bumping this up one more time as I’ll be dropping off my parts this week.

If you’re SERIOUS and would like one let me know. If not I’ll have a sweet one off ~100g carbon ISP topper and you won’t lol.

Which exact model are you making the topper for?

Propel SL0 2013-17. I’m not sure if the 2013-17 model topper fits the 18+ but they look very similar.

Do you have pics of the carbon topper?

Looking at getting a 2019 TCR ISP. Not sure if it’ll fit?

I don’t because I haven’t had it made yet. The cost comes down if I buy more than one. I haven’t had a chance to drop my topper off for them to start working but once I do, if none else commits it’ll be a one off.

I’d enquirer at the shop to see if they’re the same. From pictures they look like it but I can’t guarantee anything.

What’s the weight of the original clamp?

160g so roughly a 60g loss.

Does anyone have an extra lower cradle for these toppers?

I need one ASAP!

I got side tracked and didn’t follow through...yet. I found a few more places to shed some weight for cheaper and had none else really interested enough for me to front all the money and end up with 3-4 toppers lying around with an empty wallet.

I'm going to venture on this a little bit:

Took the topper off today; 128 grams (note; it comes in a short and a long version, this being the short one) I'm guessing that the longer-sleeved topper must be 160-ish.

10 grams are the spacers that I have in there. About 20mm/3/4", so 118gr for the topper itself.

You are left with 3 things that make this 118 grams:
1. the Alu sleeve; 50 grams
2. The Alu clamp for the seat rails; 51 grams
3. 3 steel bolts to keep it all together; 17 grams

1 - no idea how to replace, other than cutting it in half and glueing the bastard on the seatpost . Let's not go there.
2. Alu rail clamp can be exchanged for a generic carbon item of fleabay or Ali. Should save 50% in theory
3. Replace 3 bolts by Ti ones. Should save 33%

Cost; 40$

Saving/new weight --> -30 grams/88 grams

Main weight disadvantage over non-ISP is the 50 gram sleeve for which a light clamp would be used for a normal seatpost. I've seen them as light as 10 grams, but normal light clamps double that; 20 grams. If that upsets you, cut the sleeve to a minimum and glue the top half on your seatpost.

Please tell me if I'm wrong?
