Peter Sagan uploaded this to Facebook.

Seat post looks different than the current Venge. Also frame seems to have more curves.
Is it the new Venge you think?

It's just an old Venge with new paint. Maybe a custom frame size for P. Sagan

I have a new Venge right behind me (in the wrong size so swapping it next week I hope). The picture is too grainy to see any detail, but the bikes look the same.

Sagan's 'dales, iirc, had the stack of a 52, but the reach of a 58. I'd imagine this might be how a Venge looks sized like this.

Expect the new Specialized aero frame later in the season.

Please check the seatpost and seat tube. Post is narrower than the frame. Also top of the seatpost looks different too.

The photo is too grainy as you said, and they didn't share another version of it. So I am not sure if I am seeing it wrong, or it is really like that.

There's a high res pic on Tinkoff Saxo's website. It's definitely the same venge. I wouldn't expect to see a new one until MSR.

I was under the impression that teams/manufacturers had to seek UCI approval/certification (i.e. frame has sticker and is available/soon to be available for sale) at the World Tour level?

If you look at the UCI approved frames list as of September the venge is no longer listed. This might mean that there's one coming soon.

That bike looks so much better like that with a long stem and no spacer. Paint looks good too, it makes the illusion that there is less of a hump back top tube. What's with the old K-force cranks? I don't think Peter likes those much.

Very interesting that the UCI approved frame list was updated on the 14th. Wonder if that means they will not be able to race the venge at the TDU? Or if we will see sa new venge at the TDU.

UCI approved frames list: http://www.uci.ch/mm/Document/News/Rule ... nglish.pdf

Also no Shiv TT listed on their? Interesting indeed.

I also don't see the Amira (from Boels-Dolmans) listed. And from Cube I don't see any road bikes. This year Team Wanty Groupe Groubert will race with Cube bikes.. Strange..
