I am about to purchase a Colnago Vr-1 Road Bike, I use stages power meter on my current bike which I would like to install on the new Colnago. My concern is if the PM will fit the new Colnago frame with brake caliper near the bottom bracket shell. Does anyone know if there is enough clearance between the brake caliper and the Stages Power meter?

Good question. Sorry my answer isn't directly on point, but I know that on the 5-series Madones it will work with the Bontrager brake, but not the Dura Ace or Ultegra brakes. On the 6 and 7 series Madones, it won't work with either the Bontrager or the Shimano calipers.

On a side note, how you finding the V1-R? I just built one up and I'm yet to get out on it.
