Hello,

has anyone already tried EDCO Monoblock Cassettes?

http://www.edco.ch/products/accessoires/cassette.html

Could be an alternative to SRAM - if durability and shifting quality are all right...

They even fit on 10speed cassette bodies and are offered in a wider gear range.

Thanks,

B.

This is great, I am sure there are plenty of 10-speed wheels that need these.

They are a little expensive but not super crazy.

If shifting quality is all right yes - if not...

Edit: There are also 11s cassettes for 10s wheels from Token:

That's an interesting choice. I was figuring if i should go ahead with Miche Supertype or Tiso cassette.
Edco probably won't creak, i guess Token will (carbon cluster).
Hm,.... this was great :beerchug:

Interesting that they fit 11sp on a 10sp freehub, which is 1.8mm narrower. I wonder if there will be clearance problems with the spokes or frame?

The price is good, but I suspect the are going to CLUNK when shifting.

It seems you should have easier to tune for no chain rub.
I'm going to get this cassette for sure

I have used Edco 11s for my 10 speed wheels. The fit very good, they are lighter than Duraace around 15grms. The only drawback if I can call it a drawback is that when you shift it is a click more noisy than shimano, because it is one piece and it makes an echo. During riding the noise level is exactly the same. It needs to readjust your RD, but I didn't face any clearance problem. If you don't have any choice for a new freehub, it is a very good idea. When you order it don't forget to,order the extra lockring for the 10s hubs. ( I forgot it)!!!!!

Directly from them. I send them an email. Because I could find a solution for my RZR reynolds wheels. The price if I remember correctly it was like duraace.. I will check it and come back....

While shipping is pretty expensive (around $50 USD on a quick check I did) it looks like you can order from their online store: http://www.carbonwheelsshop.com/accesso ... ettes.html
