I am riding and racing an Emonda SLR (in love with it, great bike ) for about 5 months.
The brakes are great! Superior than the speed limit brakes used in madone bikes. The braking is very powerful, with great modulation. You can adjust the leverage ratio so you can have more bite or more linear braking.
In the rain, the braking is also very stable, either carbon or aluminum wheels.
Weights/experience with direct mount brakes for Trek Emonda?

Im planing on bulding my emonda slr with red22 e-tap. Would be nice with red brakes...if they will make them?
You can view on Sram web, there is no direct mount version as you can see.
The new stuff is up, so either go for Bonty brakes or EE.

Go with the Bontrager brakes, they feel fine and looks similar to the EEs at a much better price.
