Are you saying you have a spare?

Is there anything I could possibly do to lever one from you?

I was keeping my eye on this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221638998395
but it is far from ideal :D

Let me know if you can.

Ben.

I've fallen victim to the same issue, and it is actually a problem, I was riding some hilly terrain yesterday, shifting quite a lot and my chain ran off twice, which wouldn't have happened if the clip was still there. Anyone still have a spare clip lying around? Don't really look forward to replacing the whole derailleur. Already repleaced the rear once, that set me back roughly €400

This is a relatively easy repair with some 5-minute epoxy and some bit of material to stand in for the plastic brace. I used a piece of a spoke and tied the end with some black thread and 5 minute epoxy.

I ended up buying a secondhand 'Record' front derailleur that was band on and swapping cages between the two. It was pretty simple with just a couple of circlip washers holding the cage on. Hope this helps.
