I was at my LBS this morning and my friend brought this out from the glass case. I have never seen one of these beauties. Notice she is holding it like a precious baby. 118 grams this is light!

Are these compatible with both shimano and campy shifters?

I did a little digging and found this

* Shimano 9 / 10 speed compatible
* Campagnolo 9 / 10 / 11 speed compatible
* Pulleys 10 teeth each

I bet it would be fine with Shimano 11 speed also??

Anyone know why they stopped making them?

didn't know they stopped making them. but at over $1000 for this derailleur at not much weight savings of a sram red, that could be one reason.

I recenlty found one at a swap meet in San Diego. Brand new. For a fraction of the retail price. Had to have it. Haven't decided if I want to install it on my weenie bike, sell it, or hang onto it as a collectible. (I really can't afford the latter.)

No. It's threaded in almost out of view.
