Hi Guys,
I'm considering my options with PF cranks, now Campag have their over-torque I would really like to complete the set up/look. My current set up is full SR11 King PF BB Sram force cranks with praxis rings. Now all this works well together but has anyone tried the OT cranks with a king PF BB? I realise from a diameter perspective it will fit but do I need specific spacers etc? Thanks in advance

Steve

You will need Campagnolo's specific BB for this crankset. IT all proprietry to Campagnolo which is no bad thing as it works rather well.

Hmmmm.... I don't like the way the expansion collar works, you lock it with a steel grub screw crushing down on an alloy threaded ring.......seems a poor design

however once installed it is a solid setup, albeit the seals are far from friction free....

That means though the seals are doing there job of well sealing. As for the grub screw it is not meant to tighened to a high torque. If secured right no damage will be done.

I agree, just enough torque to prevent movement, no less, no more.

And don't forget to budget for the over-torque tools as well ...
