Hi All,

Just installed Shimano's D-Fly wireless unit and have been using it with a Gamin 810 and have found this to be a very useful addition to my riding.

Being able to see your gear ratio conveniently has helped me to reconsider some of my gear choices and adapt to a new 12-25T cassette.

Is anyone else using this? any comments?

Thx
Kj

Awesome stuff.
Been waiting for this for some time. Soul reason I replace my old 800 for 1000.
Great to be able to see, what gear I am in crucial moments, so that I wouldn't have to look down and back on the cassette.
All so much safer, when you are riding in the group, you can just glance to see selected gear.

I am using the same setup as eliflap-scalpel, Garmin 810 running beta 3.28 firmware. To make things very easy, pair to your SM-EWW01 first, then all your other sensors.

@grouk, like what you are doing with the extra data on that Di2Stats website, but I thought Golden Cheetah already used/displayed this information. I might be wrong.

I had to update mine also, but I have my own SM-PCE1 so it is never an issue upgrading. I am running it on Di2 Ultegra 6770 10-Speed. I did have to swap out my Junction A for the newer 3/5 Port model.

Considering shimano should have just built the 5¢ transmitter into the etube junction box, do you guys think it would work if I had the d-fly inside my frame? I like the thought of a gear indicator but not enough to have some cheesy thing zip tied to my seat stay.

Benno... mine has been working fine inside my seat tube (have in looped in with the battery)... I've heard there could be issues, but none on my side so far.

Then add me to the list. Mine is inside seat tube and working fine as well.
PS. Latest eww firmware added the signal from the "secret" buttons on top of the 9070 sti hoods. We are anticipating some future Garmin firmware will take advantage of this to allow you to change screens via these buttons.
