Actually the shortest SD50 cable is 150mm, and every 50mm until 1000mm then 1200mm and 1400mm.

Definitely want to re-install in the seat post, its a bit ugly near the rear wheel.

Also I really want those 9070 buttons to be able to switch pages on the Garmin that would be sweet.

Love this quote

(In the same position myself - it's like they bought out the rubbish version just so people will upgrade next year for the internal version

Don't mean to be rude but why on earth do you need to look at your gears to know what gear you're in? Just turning your legs will tell you all you need to know.

I put underneath my k-edge xl mount as shown in the link, maybe I will try to hide it inside the frame further down the road but now it won't bother me that much.

I feel the same way. It's like L/R balance (for the most part), you have all this data... and then what? What do you do with that data that's in any way meaningful?

Later on you will be about to see where in the stroke the power is applied.. Like a vector on the screen. If you wanted to see if you stayed in a certain gear longer or shorter on a particular climb.. There is a whole bunch of stuff that I want to take a quick look at... Might not look at it every ride but nice to know

One use is for riders who change cassettes regularly can get instant feedback how it's effecting the ride.

Anyone using this on the Edge 510? If someone can post a screenshot of what the gear indicator looks like, that would be great.

If you go to dcrainmaker.com and look at his Edge 1000 review, he covers the Di2 integration and shows the fields that are available. I assume the look of those fields is the same on the 510.
