Darn it, looks like I'll have to get another Dura Ace groupset instead of Ultegra. Hoping to save some money, but spoiled with those buttons. :(

Yesterday I installed my D-fly but my Garmin 810 doesn't find the Di2 system.

The software of my garmin is 3.40

You will have to do the firmware update with Shimano first.. then do the new update with Garmin and you should be set!

@Timmy269,

Mine was tricky initially also, but I succeeded after a while. Try to search for it with the Garmin after just after performing a shift. If this doesn't work then I think what solved it for me was performing the search after just having re-installed the Di2 battery, or the connector to the D-fly. I think it only pairs for a limited amount of time after a shift (wakes it from sleep) or power up.

It works now. I connected my di2 again to my pc and updated the sensor. After that it connected.

It works on Garmin Edge 510.

Dredging up an older thread to ask:

Has anyone tried mounting the D-Fly in a location other than the DS chainstay and found a location where it did not work? Mostly interested in internal mounting locations and paired to a Garmin.

Works fine inside my seat tube under internal battery.

I've mounted mine within the bottom bracket along with my internal junction. No issues at all.
