I have a giant TCR 04 and wanted to switched to a new fork. I can get a really good deal on a Merckx carbon fork. Don't know the rake and was hoping someone would? Will the Merckx fork work as a replacement to a carbon TCR?

Thanks for any help.

Merckx forks are typically made by Easton, I believe they're a 43 rake and should work, though I don't think it will look as clean as the original.

I don't know about the look yet. I'll find out and post a pic. but i'm also wanting to stiffen the bike up. price was just right and i think the bike overall will be stiffer. I tried going to the giant website to find out what the rake is for the stock fork but that's not listed.

thanks for the info nex.
