The sun venus isn't that aero, really resembles the tall box shape of mavic krsyriums. The velocity fusion is a nice 25m rim, alex rims have a decent one to at 27mm. I am excited to see what the new DT-Swiss 1.2 look like, you might want to wait, they should be special.
oh yeah, i was looking at the same wheels(other then the custom set), went with the ritchey. ??? we will see.

The Alex SC7000 has been discontinued, Mavic threatened to sue them over the machining in between the spokes.
The Dt RR1.2 rim is out now and I have pictures in my dealer book but I do not have a scanner to scan and post the picture. They are very heavy, the calimed weight is 510 grams.
There is the niobium 30mm rims that are sold under many different names(IRD, Speedcific, etc). The weight is around 460g and they are pretty strong.
I have a carbon reinforced 31mm rim that weighs 465g and is very strong.
