One has a little strut on the side vent, but from the site it doesn't appear that it's consistent. The entire tri line shows it, but only the green and red versions only show it for the road version. Maybe they just didn't get around to updating the pictures on the site.

I'm holding out for the Synthe, I've tried the Evade on and immediately felt two pressure points at the front/sides of my head. I've heard of the asian-fit option for the Evade, but haven't ever had a chance to try it on, supposed to be rounder which sounds like it would fit my head better.

I ride both the Evade and LG Course. The Evade better fits an oval head shape, while the Course better fits a round head shape. The Course sounds like it will likely fit you better. I found the Air Attack to fit in the middle of the two - not sure if the Synthe will fit the same.

Are there any new aero helmets that don't look completely stupid? I've yet to see one.

LG Course looks pretty normal. So does the new Giro Synthe.

It's time to use my voucher and get £50 off.

I have been looking at a Giro Air Attack £105 and the S Work Evade £160

Both look nice helmets, and fancy a semi aero helmet. Venting seems to "look" cooler on the Evade.

I am going with neither will increase my speed, but like the look and thought of a aero helmet.

Can anybody give there experiances with either helmets?

Thanks

I've got both. They definitely fit quite a bit different. Both are quite comfortable and the ratchet adjustment is great. A medium Giro will fit a bigger head than the Evade. I prefer the straps on the Evade. Also prefer the look of it on my head.

The Giro vents enough for me 90% of the time but I prefer being warmer and it definitely isn't on par with the ventilation of the Evade which feels more like a regular helmet. Lastly, I can stuff glasses into my Evade... not going to happen with the Air Attack.

I intend to keep both helmets. The Giro is my foul weather helmet and it's top comfortable to get rid of. I'll wear the Evade exclusively though when the weather improves.

Thanks.

The LG Course seems popular on the forums, and an impressive Cda, for a normal looking lid.
I like the Air Attack, and Evade, as they are aero helmets.

The Air Attack did make me alittle concerned with air flow, being in the UK isn't hot, expect a few days, but I like my head cool. But people seem to say it's fine.

The Giro for me is a cheaper than the Evade and for next to no difference in terms of aero and ventilation.

Anyone know where the Giro Synthe would fit into that CdA graph officially? I can't see it being more aero than the air attack...so not much of an upgrade on the Aeon?
