stronglight ct2 7075 vs stronglight 7075
Moderator: robbosmans
Hi all ! Just wondering if anyone has experienced the stronglight ct2 7075 chainring shifting smoothness vs the non ct2 labled 7075 chainrings. I have both sets now and wanted to get anyones input before I installed them The ct2 units are flat black in color and the non ct2 7075 are a natural aluminum color with a yellowish tint. I am planning on installing them on the Helion carbon crankset I have. The ct2 are 130 grams and the non ct2 are 125 grams for both chainrings. Thanks in advance.

Have used Stronglight CT2 and Stronglight black anodized 7075, and 'no', I don't think you will notice a difference. Take your kit into a university lab, put it through tests, do some data crunching, and there might be a difference.

I've got CT2 in spring this year, they were black. But after riding them for season they seem to be more brown than black. Do you experience it too?

I would call that a different shade of black. The rotor arms could be considered a bluish black, and the 105 front derailleur a black-black.
