Just got a Foil 40 and is planning to move all my nice stuff to it. That includes a carbon railed Specialized Romin. It just hit me that the seatpost might not be compatible? See pic. It is the Ritchey that is included.Image

There are different adapter available to suit different saddles. Check out the Ritchey website.
What size are the rails on your saddle?

I investigated the same thing but the Ritchey adapters are designed for either fizik carbon (7x9.6mm) or selle italia (8x8.5mm) saddles whereas specialized carbon rails are 7x9mm.

With that info I choose to stick with a 7x7mm alloy rail on my FOIL but if you have a dig you'll see a few FOIL's on the forum have Specialized carbon railed saddles and I'd suspect they've mounted em' using the fizik kit but I'm curious so let us know what you find.

I rode a 2013 Foil 10 with an S-Works Romin saddle--no issues whatsoever.

Thanks for the input so far. Will swing by my lbs for change of bb so will ask them too. Build will be Red (last 10 Speed version), wcs kit, ffwd F6 tubulars etc so should be around 6.8.
