Wanting to drop the 39T for a 38T & being 130bcd I'd assume this will work fine?

Stronglight CT2 seem to be favored over the Specialites TA Alize. Anyone got real life experiences good or bad?

I would also like to know more about those Stronglight rings, since they are a lot less expensive then the Dura Ace.

i am running 38/52 stronglight ct2 on a red crankset with campagnolo shifters, it runs perfectly smooth and shifts really well.

some srm spiders have more material around the chainring bolts(maybe to have a stiffer spider so they only have deformation where they measure it). i can't mount a 38 chainring on my cannondale srm(ca. 2012), the chain touches the spider and is not fully engaged on the teeth at these spots.

Just ordered a Stronglight CT2 38T ring from Germany. I'll add a photo once installed...

38T ring arrived today... No install instructions though. I guessing I install with "branding" facing the drivetrain?

Yes, exactly. It should be easy to fit it. Good choice 53/38 , I like this gearing.
